GIFTED MINISTRY
We believe that every member of the body of Christ has the Holy Spirit living inside them. Because of this they have been given gifts and we believe it is essential for every believer to discover their gifts and operate in those gifts through serving.
COMPASSION
In all that Jesus did during His earthly ministry He was driven by love, compassion and mercy. At The Father's Heart we desire to respond where we see a need as God enables us.
WELCOMING
Every single one of us who come to follow Jesus comes to Him broken and mired in sin. We believe the gospel is available to all people no matter their background, race, or gender. We desire to be a church that encourages people to come as they are, encounter Jesus, and be transformed.
DISCIPLESHIP
Before Jesus left the earth He commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations. We believe that discipleship is foundational to seeing lives radically transformed and seeing God's kingdom increase on the earth.
JESUS AT THE CENTER
In all that we do our aim is to glorify and magnify the name of Jesus. He has given His life and taken the punishment that we ourselves deserve. In all that we do we fix our eyes upon Him.
THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We are empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish the purposes of God's kingdom. We believe to be an effective influential church for God's kingdom we must be empowered by the Holy Spirit and follow His leading.
PRAYER FIRST
Jesus has called us to ask, seek, and knock. We believe in the power of prayer and that prayer should not be viewed as a last resort. In all that we do as a church and ministry prayer is the first priority. When we pray according to the Father's will it is done. Where two or more agree on anything it is done.
NEXT GENERATION
We believe that to be effective as a church and ministry that we must diligently prepared the next generation. It is the principle of Moses and Joshua. God is always raising up the next leaders and as a church we know the importance of investing in leaders and producing leaders.
