Nothing Is Too Hard For You

Jeremiah 32:17 (New International Version)

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

We need to remind ourselves of this daily. Nothing is too hard for God. So many times, we can become overwhelmed by things we face on a daily basis. The enemy will assault us with lie and temptation to try to get us to either step out of the will of God, not follow the will of God, or get our eyes off Jesus. But when we sit back and think about who God is, reflecting on His greatness and power, it truly puts things in perspective.

Today you might be facing something that is overwhelming in your life. You may even believe or feel that God has abandoned you and that you have lost all hope. But understand what you are feeling and what you are believing is not based on truth. God will never abandon us, nor forsake us. His grace is sufficient for all we will face. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Often, we feel overwhelmed and we begin to think about quitting when we begin to rely on our own strength and power.

In ourselves we are nothing. The quicker we can come to that conclusion the better. The more time we spend with the Lord in His presence, the more we are changed by Him. As we spend time in God’s word, our minds are renewed, and our lives are transformed. We will begin to see the trials we face as blessings and tools God is using to mold and shape us. Regardless of what we face today we must remember that the one we are able to draw near to and have an audience with is the same one who made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm.

Today be willing to trust the Lord. Be willing to let go of your fear, worry, anxiety, and unbelief. Ask Him to help you in your unbelief. Every trial you face has an eternal purpose. Nothing you face now on this earth is by accident and chance. As a child of God your steps are ordered by God and ultimately our eyes must be fixed on the soon return of our Lord and Savior. Today be willing to live in His presence. Be willing to walk with Him at all times. May we surrender every area of our lives to Almighty God.

Prayer

Father thank you for your love. Thank you that you never abandon us nor forsake us. That you always provide, protect, guide, lead, and direct. Thank you that nothing we face is by accident. That even the hard and difficult things in our lives have an eternal purpose. Help me in my unbelief. Forgive me when I fall short. May I fall in love with you more and more each day. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
